WOODEN BOAT BUILDING & RESTORATION

Ric’s Boathouse specializes in wooden boat building and restoration. Ric has over three decades of experience in all aspects of the marine field and has spent 7 years circum-navigating the globe as a private captain and engineer aboard a 65’ sail boat. His secondary business is Northwest Nav, specializing in marine electronics.

In 2008, Ric launched Ric’s Boathouse and begain building a line of fine wooden kayaks designed by Bear Mountain Boats from Ontario, Canada.

In 2010, he will begin production of the OK Dinghy, a 4 m long single-handed sailing racing dinghy by Danish designers, Knud and Axel Olsen. The OK is enjoyed internationally by racing enthusiasts.
