Jim Brazil - (Sabre 42)
Olympia, WA
I have had the privilege of owning a 2001 Sabre 42 foot flybridge sedan for the last year.  It is a fine vessel, but suffered from some deferred maintenance and general senility.  Ric Holl has been instrumental in bringing her back to full working order, and has shown great skill in dealing in multiple different ship systems: rebuilding a watermaker, trouble shooting electrical gremlins, updating and expanding the ships batteries, rebuilding and rewiring the davit winch, and general engine maintenance.  When called on he is prompt and efficient, and his work is of high quality.  I highly recommend Ric for vessel maintenance.  His accent is pretty cool too.

Centralia, WA
Ric has managed my boat for several years. The service that he has provided has been first class and thorough. He is a true professional. I have appreciated the fact that he has always been available to communicate with me no matter when or where I may be. Ric has worked over the systems on the boat that have required everything from mechanical to electrical or technical expertise. It  is a wonderful feeling to be able to relax when I'm out on the water knowing that Ric cares to keep my boat in great working condition and  always inspects all areas to avoid future break down and insure safety.

Not only has Ric helped me to become a more knowledgeable boater, it is a bonus to like the individual you are working with. I highly recommend Ric for whatever your boating needs may be!

Harbor Master at Arabella’s Landing, Gig Harbor, WA
We maintain 55 permanent moorage slips plus additional moorage for 25 - 40 transient vessels depending on their length. Ric Holl provides rapid response and quality service for both our permanent and transient moorage guests. In addition, Ric maintains Arabella’s Landing Marina’s shore power system. By far, Ric is the most personable, highly qualified and efficient professional that I have had the pleasure of recommending for virtually any marine related problem, without hesitation. He is a man of impeccable integrity. I have recommended Ric to quite a few boaters who leave their yachts at Arabella’s for the winter while vacationing in a warmer climates. Ric can be trusted, without question, to maintain these vessels such that they are ready for cruising immediately upon return of the owner to Gig Harbor. No job is too small or too big for Ric Holl. From installation or repair of the most sophisticated electronic navigation systems to new engine replacement, Ric can do it all. If I had just three words to describe Ric Holl, they would be: dependable, confident, and trustworthy. www.arabellaslanding.com

Dwaine S. Howard - (Nordhaven “Nisku”)
Grayland, WA Ric Holl has worked on my boats for over 20 years in both Seattle and Olympia. I would not consider hauling the boat without him being there to supervise the haul out and bottom painting etc. He personally looks after the zincs, propeller, rudder, shaft, thruster, and keel cooler. He also services the watermaker, furnace and other major systems on the boat. His name is displayed on the side of the boat as the one to call in emergency. Ric’s work is professional, timely and the prices are reasonable.
